Depth Perception and Object Detection

Today there are a number of off-the-shelf stereo depth perception systems on the market. However, depending on factors such as accuracy, baseline, size, weight or cost, there are times system engineers need to build a custom system. In this talk, we will discuss key design drivers for using stereo vision and provide step-by-step instructions on how to build your own compact, lightweight and affordable embedded stereo vision-based system.
