I am looking for the manufacturer of an end-of-arm vacuum gripper tool. The tool has 4 rows of 7 black rubber cups and the main body of the tool is blue, a simple rectangular design. It is not Coval or Schmalz. Does anyone know what the provider of this tool might be? Thanks in advance, Evin

Black Cups maybe Bilsing or another company. What do you need to do replace or rework the Tool?

I am looking for a robotic system to assist with handling ceramic molds and castings that weigh at least 60 pounds. We have had several lumbar strains from lifting these molds because they are handled at least 10 times each by the employee. The molds are fragile. We do have robotics in the facility to dip the molds in the ceramics. Do you have any recommendations?

We handle a Servo Lift Arm that Ford Motor company has used to move panels.

Send me you contact info and I can send you info.

I'm working on an indoor aquaculture project about to go commercial. I would like to integrate mobile robotics and am looking for the appropriate systems. The business is an indoor oyster growing facility where the robots would select, transport, dump, and replace baskets of oysters. The baskets are located in growing tanks. The robots would not become submerged, but probably would have to deal with drips and wet floors. They will work in the dark, use bar code or rfid tags and navigate either autonomously or follow flow lines on the floor. The baskets will be about the size of large milk crates and ideally be transported several at a time. Can anyone help with suggestions as to which companies to contact?

Fanuc Robotics is always a good place to start. They have system Integrator's.

What are the best resources to learn more about end of arm tool (EOAT) design for automotive material handling applications? Topics that I am interested in: - Interface design of tooling to robot (Specific to robot manufacturer or standard COTS interface plates) - support structure or frame (weldment vs. modular aluminum extrusion) - linear actuator selection criteria (pneumatic vs. electric) - location features on tooling (NAAMS pins, v-blocks, net pads, machined plastic) - non-marring materials for clamping interface to painted parts (UHMWPE, delrin, others?) - vision systems (correction/best fit systems such as robeye, Fanuc IRvision, 3D vision system) Also interested in end of arm tooling component suppliers, turnkey EOAT design Thanks

We represent UNIVER SPa who is a manufacturer of Aluminum Modular Tooling.

We would be interested into getting more detailed information from you if you are still working on this project.

The Searchlite is helping a client to identify industrial needs and potential application of a newly invented non-adhensive T-clamp. This aluminum clamp can apply even pressure on carbon fiber tubes without cracking them and will be ideal for lightweight robotic tooling system. Does anyone have experience in this area? We would really appreciate any insights you can share with us.

Bilsing Automation in Michigan has a parent company who manufacturers Carbon Fiber Tooling.

You may want to reach out to them.

I'm using a Fanuc robot 120I mate with a Miller auto-axcess. The robot does not get a weld complete all of the time on the PLC. When the robot is running it program and welding the position after the arc end the weld contractor is still live for a brief sec.

Hello Tony! Did you get this answered?

Hello. I am a sophomore in college majoring in Mechatronics Engineering. I was wondering what advice do you have to someone like me who wants to get experience in this field, specifically in robotics. Are there any type of certifications I can work on that will distinguish me between my classmates? My main focus is in animatronics, but I lack the skill, experience, and knowledge of anything in robotics. Are there any types of events I can attend or programs I can look into that will help me in my path, besides going to college? Thank you so much.

I would contact Fanuc Robotics. They work with many High Schools, and Universities to help students get familiar with Robotics.

I am interested in gaining more experience with programming and integrating industrial robots and I want to apply in the future at Tesla as a Robotics Engineer. How can I gain more skills with programming robots like Fanuc and KUKA to make myself more competitive? Please keep in mind I did work for KUKA Robotics at Mercedes and Tesla over the summer, but I didn't get a whole lot of experience with programming and once I get out of school I would like to apply to work at Tesla.

I would look into taking Robot training at any Technical school that offers it first.

Hi, I am a manufacturing engineer with a lighting company and we are interested to purchase an arc-welding cell/robot. This is the first time we are exploring robotics. I know choosing the right integrator is very important in the process. I was wondering if you can tell me who are the three top integrators in the arc-welding world? I appreciate your help.

Good morning:

The Arc Welding Experts we are familiar with are Genesis Systems Group from Davenport, IOWA. My Salesman is there today for a tour and to present our products to them.

Wayne Trail. out of Ohio is also a a key integrator.. Christopher Zurek
