Outdoor art project, looking for laserscanner: Can you recommend models of laserscanners that can be used to track people in a park? I wish it to view in at least 180 degrees, not to be harmful for the eyes, and durable or inexpensive so it can be mounted in temperatures -10 to 30 degrees Celcius.

I want to duplicate a progam in a different location on a otc v6 with a fd11 controller and a fd teaching pendant, I want to be able to weld 3 of the same parts without teaching every individual part.

Hello Ryan,

What you are trying to achieve is know as cloning of robot programs. You will need to calibrate the robot-cell in the first location and calibration the same or different similar robot-cell in the second location. Knowing the two robot-cell signatures, you can compensate the robot programs from one location to another without touch-up.

Dynalog provides the DynaCal system that is capable of calibrating and compensating the robot-cells.

Contact me if you need more information.

Best regards,

Anil

We are moving several robots from one building to another 240 miles away. The current shop has been in production for 10 plus years. Production will stop and everything must move. Is there a new stet of standards that must be applied and do I need to update the old equipment to the new standards (if any)? Where do I get a road map to help in this move?

We can eliminate manual re-teaching of the programs for robots that are moved from their original installed position. Save time and money with robot calibration. Contact me if you would like more details.

Regarding standards, I suggest that you contact Mr. Jeff Fryman of the RIA.

Whats the best way to validate the accuracy of a robot? Interferometer, Leica, Faro? Suggestions please?

Dynalog, Inc provides the CompuGauge system that includes the ISO-9283 performance standards. The standards include validation of robot accuracy/repeatability, both static and dynamic. Check out our website www.dynalog-us.com.

I use the OTC Daihen Almega V6 and have been trying to figure out how to move a program to a new location. We have a new table and want to move programs without teaching them all over again. Also, I need to move some programs from one robot to another using the memory card. Thanks for any information on this.

Dynalog's DynaCal system is able to to identify the location of the old and the new table location. The filter module can then compensate the robot positions in each program for the difference in the table location. The complete operation can be achieved in couple of hours.
