We need a robot to move 3 bottles weighing 120 grams total, having an open top, containing a food ingredient that can't be spilled. The distance to move is 2-12 inch segment. Place empty on filling station, move to conveyor. All this happens at standard conveyor height. What kind of robot would we need for this? Basic please, newbie.

Mark,

Coval specializes in p&p handling using vacuum. Depending on the type of bottles and parameters, we can certainly help you out. Give me a call or shoot me an email if interested and we can discuss in greater detail. I can do some testing here if need be? Thanks! 919-233-4855; matt.ossi@coval.com

I need a 2 jaw robot gripper to pick and place a 20mm x 20mm x 30mm piece of aluminium. It will be fitted to a vs series denso six axis robot. Do I need to purchase a gripper that's made for the type of robot or can I make up an adapter for the gripper? Need for my final year project. Thanks for any help.

Kevin,

Are you required to use a 2-jaw gripper or can you pick using vacuum? If so, I can help you with the complete EOAT (End Of Arm Tool). Please call (919-233-4855) or email me if you want to use vacuum. Thanks-Matt

Would like a recommendation on EOAT designer to work with to design a de-palletizing row pick tool for poor quality full glass bottle corrugated cases.

I am interested in the name of an integrator that can supply a turn key system to install windshields to cars and trucks. They must be able to install in TN, be highly reliable and of course be a part of the bidding process which includes pre-bid meetings, etc.

Ken, I have a very good and unbiased recommendation for you. I am with Coval Vacuum Technology and we supply complete tooling for robots as well as all the vacuum components to lift the glass. Therefore, we work with many of the integrators around the country. For your specific need, I would recommend you use a full integrator like CIM Systems out of Indiana. They are an ABB Integrator and probably one of the top 3 for ABB. They are very good and have a local rep who can come visit you. I can get you contact info or feel free to contact them directly. You will be impressed! Good Luck.
